Recently, Anqing Foreign Language School implemented the nationwide ‘Opera-Into-Campus’/ Fan Drawing Creation Activities with the theme of ‘Greeting Friends From All Round the World with Fans’.
Initially, under the elaborate guidance of art teachers, students used 200 folding fans to masterly combine the utility function with the opera culture, painting and calligraphy that suit both refined and popular tastes.
What’s more, students designed an opera fan drawing rich in content with multicolors and stunning forms, which constituted the particular taste and culture connotation of fan drawing.
To sum up, during the grand event, each and every fan drawing made by students shall be presented as souvenirs for leaders and opera fans from around China to conduct the opera culture exchange. Furthermore, the implementation of this activity not only enriched the connotation of Anqing Foreign Language School’s quality-oriented cultural education, but also strengthened students’ understanding towards the fan drawing etiquette culture, which boosted students’ abilities in fan drawing creation as well.
